Corporate Governance, is it Worthy?

ABSTRACT: Since the late 90s, a lot has been written and said regarding Corporate Governance. Things have changed, international crises have occurred, new developments in the corporate world have taken place. Moreover, in recent years we are not discussing only Corporate Governance matters, but also Corporate Sustainability aspects. This paper focuses on these ideas and this analysis from the point of view of emerging markets of emerging countries. And, of course, taking into account what happens in my own country, Peru. But also I have taken a random selection of four countries – not only emerging - and I will describe what is happening there regarding corporate sustainability.
