A Lawyer’s Perspective on WTO Law and Running a Trade Practice
This guest lecture by Paolo Vergano, Partner at FratiniVergano - European Lawyers, took place in the context of the course on International Economic Dispute Resolution.
Abstract:
The aim of this guest lecture is to provide a snapshot of how a law firm’s trade practice works in terms of the daily work, the mix of trade advocacy, regulatory work, trade negotiations and trade litigation, as well as the activities related to business development, human resources management, and general administration. Reference will be made to a number of recent issues and trade developments in order to provide context and topics for discussion during the lecture.
