Zhang Rui comes from China. She achieved her bachelor's degree of law at shanghai university of international business and economics, during her bachelor’s period, she found her interesting area of law: international economic law. And then she decided to take and then passed the postgraduate entrance exam and was admitted to the master's program of shanghai university of international business and economics, and her study area was trade remedy. During the last 5 years in university, she did some internships at Gansu Provincial Higher People's court, Shanghai Xuhui District People's Procuratorate, and Co-effort law firm respectively. From her internship experience, she experienced the different professional roles of a law student, and she figured out her career plan: to be a lawyer. Because being a lawyer has more freedom compared with being a judge or prosecutor, and she values it a lot.
Except for some internships, she also had some academic cooperation with her supervisor at the shanghai university of international business and economics, she was responsible for translating some chapters of his new book from Chinese to English, and also did some legal research and analysis work.
Last year, she passed the people’s republic of China’s legal professional qualification or China’s bar exam, so she is ready to be a qualified lawyer.
