Thomas is an economist with an interdisciplinary research profile, specialising in remote sensing and natural hazards and their impact. He has a PhD in applied econometrics from Université de Cergy-Pontoise, an MSc in Sustainable Development, environment and energy from Agro Paris Tech and a dual MSc in Quantitative Economics and Finance and Business Administration from HEC Paris/Ecole Polytechnique. He has worked on several World Bank Projects related to his research on remote sensing.
