Karma Yangzom MILE 20

Karma Yangzom is from Bhutan. She is currently employed at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Royal Government of Bhutan. She has a postgraduate diploma in Financial Management from the Royal Institute of Management in Bhutan and a Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore University in India. Besides her formal education, she has attended various training courses and workshops inside and outside Bhutan.

She has worked as a civil servant with the Royal Government of Bhutan from 2003 to the present. In her 16 year tenure with the Royal Government, she has worked with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Affairs as Accounts Officer, Programme Officer and Project Officer. Besides her normal official duties, she was a member of the team and task force developing policy documents. Karma was the recipient of several honours of the Royal Government of Bhutan.
