Ximena Montenegro MILE 17

Ximena Montenegro is a Chilean lawyer. She holds a Bachelor of Law from the Catholic University of Chile along with a certificate in Public Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Humanities from Universidad de Chile.

She has interned at the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as at the Department of Political Affairs of the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Before moving to Switzerland, she worked as a Teaching Assistant on the courses “Inter American system of protection of Human Rights” and “International Public Law” and on the “graduate course in Good Governance”.

Currently, Ximena is enrolled on the Master of International Law and Economics (MILE) at the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern (Switzerland) on a WTI Director Scholarship.

She is fluent in English, Spanish and German.
