Truong Xuan Pham graduated in 2009 from the Foreign Trade University (FTU), Vietnam, with a high distinction degree in international business economics. His dissertation "The relationship between economic growth and capital accumulation in Vietnam" showed his interest in economic growth, particularly in developing countries. Before graduation, he did an internship in one of the largest vegetable exporting companies in Vietnam, in which he developed deep practical skills in international trade. After graduation, he worked a short time for a securities company as a business analyst. Pham has an interest in business activities in general and international trade in particular. He participated in two short courses about Skills in Electronic Commerce organized by the FTU and Ministry of Commerce and Industry; and Intellectual Property Rights organized by the WIPO and National Office of Intellectual Property. Now he is a teaching assistant at Faculty of International Economics in FTU. Pham has joined the MILE program to acquire more knowledge about international trade, not only for him but also for those students he will teach in the future. He enjoys travelling, especially to distant areas to taste new culture and gain more experiences. He loves reading books as well.
