Alejandro Matsuno Remigio holds a Bachelor of Laws from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) where he graduated with honours.
As a student, Alejandro won a competition of undergraduate research papers in public law. Since then, he has published articles in international law and human rights in various national law reviews. He was member of the PUCP School of Law team in a national human rights moot court competition and in the following edition acted as the coach.
In 2011, Alejandro was granted a scholarship from the Institut International des Droits de l’Homme in Strasbourg, France, to attend its 42nd annual session. Alejandro has been a teaching assistant in public international law at the PUCP School of Law and in the Academic Research of General Studies. He has also worked as research assistant and assistant editor and has been an academic assistant in the PUCP LL.M in International Economic Law. Alejandro was granted a SECO scholarship to pursue the MILE at the World Trade Institute.
