Kairat Torebayev MILE 12

Kairat Torebayev graduated from Kazakh State Academy of Management in 2000. He began his career as an economist at the Statistic Data Centre of the Almaty Region and in 2001 he joined the Ministry of External Affairs, taking up positions as Specialist, Attaché and Third Secretary. From 2004-2009 he was posted at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in India where he was in charge of the commercial and economic sections (Third and Second Secretary). In 2009 he returned to the Ministry as the First secretary of the Department of America and in 2010 he joined the Asian Development Bank and was assigned as an Advisor to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
