Nazym Shalbayeva MILE 12

Nazym Shalbayeva graduated with a Diploma with honours, specialising in International Economic Relations, from the Kazakh State Academy of Management, Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2000. From 2001 to 2004 she worked as a Project Assistant, Coordinator and Permanent Consultant on the EU TACIS (Technical Assistance for the Commonwealth of Independent States) Projects and from 2004 to 2009 she held a diplomatic position as Coordinator of the Kazakh-Indian Centre in New-Delhi, India.

After returning to Kazakhstan, she worked as an Expert on Trade Measures at the Centre for Trade Policy Development under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Kazakhstan as well as Coordinator of the Information Centre on WTO accession issues. Nazym is fluent in Kazakh, Russian and English and enjoys reading and travel.
