Sheila Sabune earned a Master's in International Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute, Berne Switzerland, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Bar Course) from the Law Development Centre, Kampala, Uganda, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons) from Makerere University Kampala Uganda. She is currently working in the World Health Organisation's Influenza Vaccine Deployment team as focal point for legal issues.
Previous employment: (i) worked as Economic Officer in the WTO's Development Division (ii) as Programme Officer for ICTSD's Services & Dispute Settlement programme (iii) Legal/Economic Officer on WTO issues for the Permanent Mission of Uganda in Geneva (iv ) as Programme Coordinator and Legal Officer for Audit Control and Expertise SA (v) as Permanent Staff Mediator for the Centre for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (CADER) in Uganda. She is a specialist in Commodity Financing, WTO Dispute Settlement, Trade in Services, Regionalism, and Aid for Trade.
