Sneha Singh is a lawyer from India with a specialisation in trade and investment laws from the National Law University of Jodhpur. Prior to commencing her masters, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, contributing to a project on equitable vaccine access in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also served as a Research Associate at CUTS International, India -  a think tank dedicated to promoting rules based trade and economic good governance through research, advocacy, and capacity building for grassroot beneficiaries.

An enthusiastic moot court participant, Sneha has earned accolades in several international and national competitions, including the John H. Jackson WTO Moot Court, the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot and the Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot. She was also the Editor-in-Chief of Trade Law & Development, India’s top-ranked student law journal in the field of international economic law.

Sneha’s areas of interest include new-generation trade agreements, digital trade, intellectual property laws, sustainable trade and investment frameworks, as well as international negotiations, and trade policy formulation and implementation.

She is confident that the academic rigour and the interdisciplinary approach of the TRAIL+ program at the WTI will prepare her for a dynamic and meaningful career in economic diplomacy and public policy.
