Jelle Begeyn

Jelle Begeyn was born in Belgium where he obtained his master’s degree in law at Ghent University. During his master's he focused on international business law and international economic law for which he did an exchange at SMU (Singapore Management University). The many courses he took on multilateral negotiations are also where he discovered his love for negotiations. Jelle wrote his master’s thesis on the future of the dispute settlement system of the World Trade Organization.

After finishing his master’s programme Jelle worked as an auditor for Deloitte for six months to learn about the inner workings of companies.  This however led him back to international trade and eventually the WTI TRAIL+ programme.

Jelle’s native language is Dutch, and he is proficient in English and French.

In his free time, Jelle enjoys callisthenics, gymnastic rings and reading.
