Nicholas Thomas

Nicholas William Thomas is a motivated young professional from the twin-island state of Antigua and Barbuda, with an interest in international relations and development, who holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science and Law with Honours from the University of the West Indies, CaveHill Campus (Barbados). His interest in International Trade was piqued when during his final year of his undergraduate studies he completed a course which explored the topic, the global political economy. It was from then his love for understanding how trade impacted the economy on all fronts began. 

Originating from a Small Island Developing State, has undoubtably proven to Mr. Thomas the necessity of proper trade regulations as the consequences of the mismanagement of trade and investment policies are evident through the lens of the economic development of his country and region. 

Mr. Thomas could be regarded as a well-rounded individual. He has been an entrepreneur specializing in the art of photography from the tender age of 18. Now 7 years later, this business has grown tremendously from offering photography services to his friends to now working with corporations, universities, banks and other well-established businesses, international clients- individual and organizations. Safe to say, Nick T Photography has become a house-hold name as the departure of the entrepreneur to further his studies was one that was bittersweet for his clientele as he was a staple in the capturing of their memories; both personal and professional.

Nicholas looks forward to gaining experience in the field of International Trade and International Economic Law at international organizations, government departments, or private entities. It is his dream to offer his unique perspective to the field of study as a young global changemaker.
