Tavieshi Singh is an aspiring lawyer who wishes to practice in international investment and commercial law. She holds two bachelor degrees, a LL.B. from the University of Birmingham, England (overall grade 2:1) and a B.A.(Hons) English literature with Economics from the University of Delhi, India. She received a partial scholarship from the University of Birmingham to complete her undergraduate programme. She worked as an intern at the Singh and Singh law firm LLP in New Delhi, assisting the team with significant drafting and research work. She also interned with the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, established by the Ministry of trade and commerce Government of India.
She was previously involved in volunteering work with the British NGO Action Tutoring, where she helped students with GCSE level English. She was also actively involved in the National Service Scheme of Maitreyi College, University of Delhi as the president and organised large-scale events in collaboration with Dell and ONGC as part of their CSR activity. She was also part of the reader-writer bank as a scribe for visually impaired students. She is a trained classical Bharatnatyam dancer.
Through the TRAIL+ programme at the WTI she aims to develop an expertise in investment matters and commercial law which will help her ace in the professional field.
