SAIELN's Third Biennial Conference on Food Security and International Law
WTI's Director of Studies, Prof. Peter Van den Bossche, speaks at the Third Biennial Conference of the South Asia International Economic Law Network's (SAIELN) on "Food Security and International Law: Critical and Interdisciplinary Perspectives".
Prof. Peter Van den Bossche gave the SIEL President's Address at the Inauguration Session of the South Asia International Economic Law Network's (SAIELN) Third Biennial Conference on "Food Security and International Law: Critical and Interdisciplinary Perspectives". Prof. Van den Bossche’s speech was followed by the keynote address of Mr B.V.R. Subramanyam, MILE alumnus and former Commerce Secretary, Government of India.
The two-day conference is taking place in Kochi, Kerala, India from 19 to 20 December 2022. Topics include agricultural trade in the WTO, international economic law perspectives on food security, food security through sustainable development, public stockholding, civil society perspectives on food security.
