Prof. Van den Bossche at the WTO Chair conference "UZBEKISTAN’S WTO ACCESSION: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES”

WTI's Director of Studies, Prof. Van den Bossche, spoke today at a conference on Uzbekistan’s Accession to the WTO on the topic: Joining an Organization in Crisis.

The conference, UZBEKISTAN’S WTO ACCESSION: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES, is organized by the WTO Chair at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The WTI works closely with UWED, in the context of an ITC academic capacity building programme. The WTO Chair holder is Umid Yakubkhodjaev, who was until earlier this year a resident PhD student at the WTI and is now finishing his PhD.
