The SARS-CoV-2 Variant Omicron: A Snapshot of Where We Are

A total of  eight experts based at the University of Bern/Inselspital and associated institutes presented and discussed topics on the detection, spread, characteristics and impact of variant Omicron.

Prof. Joseph Francois, the WTI's Managing Director, acted as one of the panelists and discussed the effects of COVID on trade. Other panelists included Dr. Emma Hodcroft, Prof. Dr. Volker Thiel, Dr. Christian Althaus, Prof. Dr. med. Annelies Wilder-Smith, Dr. med. Manuela Funke-Chambour, Prof. Dr. Claus Beisbart and Prof. Dr. med. Nicola Low.
