Recap: 'Talk on the WTO Reforms and on the Future of the Multilateral Trading System'

The event took place on 24 June with around 100 participants joining from all around the world. Dr Olivier Fink, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Switzerland in India, opened the event with Welcome Remarks. Afterwards, Prof. Abhijit Das, Head & Professor at the Centre for WTO Studies, gave a presentation on ‘WTO Reforms: Putting Development at the Centre of it’. This was followed by a talk by Prof. Peter Van den Bossche, Director of Studies of the World Trade Institute, on ‘The Future of the Multilateral Trading System: Looking Ahead With Both Hope And Fear’.
