Season's Greetings - Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for 2021 from the WTI

Dear friends and partners of the WTI,

2020 is coming to an end, a year marked by unprecedented hardships, challenges and sacrifices. It has undoubtedly been a tough period for everybody, including the students and staff at the WTI. From adapting our regular on site operations to cancelling and rescheduling events and reorganising our online presence, the Coronavirus pandemic has had serious effects on our daily lives.

However, despite the difficulties the world has experienced over the last year, we always aim to maintain a positive outlook. The WTI believes that there is much to feel positive about in 2021, for example the approval of one of the vaccines, which are being developed to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. We are hopeful that normal operations at our institute will be possible in the course of the next year.

This time around, holiday celebrations might look quite different from what we are used to but we hope you can find joy and comfort in the company of your loved ones.
