Successful Conclusion of the WTI's first ever Online Summer Academy
The WTI's annual Summer Academy, which was held online this year in response the to the COVID-19 pandemic, has successfully concluded on 17 July. This was the first time the Institute offered the weekly courses exclusively for virtual participation since the launch of the Winter and Summer Academies.
A total of seven courses were offered this time, attracting not only the WTI's current batch of Master's students but also external participants from various areas of work and study. The last week included two courses: International Investment Law & Dispute Settlement: Current Developments, taught by Roberto Echandi and Georgios Petrochilos (see screenshots) and Trade and Sustainable Development taught by SNSF Professor Damian Räss and Dora Sari.
Earlier courses focused on WTO Law on TBT & SPS Measures, Innovation and Intellectual Property Protection, Applied General Equilibrium Modelling on Trade Policy and Development and Trade and Agriculture.
