Margrit Vetter meets up with WTI alumni in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam
Margrit Vetter, the WTI’s Director of Administration, spent the month of November visiting South East Asia and meeting up with WTI alumni in different countries.
During her tour of Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, she had the opportunity to catch up with many former MILE and PhD students who belong to the WTI’s large network of alumni all around the world.
On her first stop, Vientiane, Laos, Margrit caught up with Phouvieng (MILE 7) and his wife.
In Cambodia she had the opportunity to meet for drinks with Kim Sin (MILE 4), Suon Prasith (MILE 6) and Volthana In (MILE 2).
And finally in Vietnam, Margrit visited cultural sights in the company of several former MILE and PhD students at the WTI. She met with WTI faculty member Claudio Dordi, Trang Ngo (MILE 15), Ngan Vu (MILE 11), Phuong Vu (MILE 10), Quyn Nguyen (MILE 14), Daisy Nguyen (WTI PhD alumna), Michelle Phuong Tong (MILE 15), Duc Pham (MILE 18) and WTI staff member Pablo Rahul Das.
