Empowering Climate Leadership Through International Collaboration with Malaysia
The Executive Program on Climate Action and Energy Transition, held in Bern, Switzerland earlier in April, brought together distinguished professionals from government, academia, and industry to deepen their engagement with the global climate and energy transition agenda.
The Institute of Malaysian and International Studies and the World Trade Institute (WTI) organized this program - with the support of the Embassy of Malaysia in Berne. This program featured high-level lectures, strategic policy dialogues, and technical site visits. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of global best practices in sustainable energy, climate diplomacy, and finance mechanisms such as ESG and green bonds.
Through collaboration with the University of Bern, and interactions with leading Swiss energy institutions and scholars, the program fostered both intellectual exchange and meaningful international partnerships.
