5th International Bachelor Summer School for Climate Change Research
Join us for the International Bachelor Summer School for Climate Change Research. This Summer School is designed for highly motivated bachelor students (semesters 4–6) who are passionate about climate change and currently enrolled in natural/climate sciences, economics, social sciences, or law takes place 4 - 15 August 2025 in Bern, Switzerland.
The latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report reaffirms that climate change is undeniable. Recognized by both the scientific community and global policymakers, this urgent challenge has been a priority since the 1992 Rio Summit. Addressing climate change effectively requires an interdisciplinary approach that bridges science, economics, governance, and policy.
Structured around four key areas—The Physical Climate System, Climate Economics, Governance, and Knowledge Transfer—the program combines expert-led keynote lectures, interactive workshops, and hands-on research projects.
