An eventful November for WTI Director of Studies
Prof. Peter Van den Bossche, the WTI Director of Studies, visited and gave lectuers at Bocconi University and Università Cattolica in Milan, and at The City Law School, University of London.
On 14, 15, 27, 28 and 30 November 2023, Prof. Peter Van den Bossche, the WTI Director of Studies, gave five lectures at Bocconi University in Milan in the context of the course of Prof. Leonardo Borlini on International Trade and Investment Law. These lectures were on WTO rules on anti-dumping measures, subsidies and countervailing measures, safeguard measures, trade in services and national security.
Prof. Van den Bossche participated in a conference on 13 November at the Facoltà di Giurisprudenza of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. He gave the keynote lecture on WTO Dispute Settlement and Beyond: Recent Development. Prof. em. Giorgio Sacerdoti acted as discussant. The conference was introduced by Dean Gabriele Della Morte and the discussion was moderated by Prof. Ilaria Espa.
On 24 November, Prof. Van den Bossche gave a guest lecture at The City Law School, University of London, where his former PhD student, David Collins is now Professor of international economic law. The guest lecture was introduced by Dean Richard Ashcroft and the discussion moderated by Dr. Zhao Lijun.
