NCCR Trade Regulation/WTI was well represented at the SIEL Conference
Researchers of the Work Packages 1, 2 and 4 presented their papers at this year's SIEL Conference in Singapore.
NCCR Trade Regulation was well represented at the Conference of the Society of International Economic Law/SIEL, which took place in Singapore from 12 to 14 July 2012. Roberto Echandi, Christian Häberli, Christine Kaufmann, Fiona Smith, and Rolf Weber presented their papers. Many alumni of the WTI’s Master of International Law and Economics (MILE) programme participated in the conference. There was a lot of interest in the NCCR’s research, as the downloading of their papers proved. The paper by Christian Häberli and Fiona Smith on "Food security, foreign direct investment and multilevel governance in weak states” was listed on SSRN’s Top Ten download list for: PSN: Other Political Economy: Development (topic).
