Prof. Van den Bossche at the 2023 Dispute Settlement Symposium
Yet another important symposium, this time in Korea, for WTI's Director of Studies.
On the 30th and 31st of August, 2023, Prof. Peter Van den Bossche participated in the 2023 Dispute Settlement Symposium, hosted and organized by the Korean Society of International Economic law (KSIEL) and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of the Republic of Korea.
The participants of the symposium, focused on ongoing efforts to reform and revive the WTO dispute settlement system, included Dukgeun Ahn, Minister for Trade, Korea; Junha Kang, President of KSIEL; Seung Wha Chang, Seoul National University School of Law; William Davey, Illinois Law School; Mark Wu, Harvard Law School; Petros Mavroidis, Colombia Law School; Alan Sykes, Stanford Law School; Jaemin Lee, Seoul National Unversity School of Law; Asif Qureshi, Peking University; Ichiro Araki, Yomohama National University; Henry Gao, Singapore Management University; and Jasper Wauters (White & Case).
