Irene Garcés-Iriarte awarded the best paper!

The WTI is proud to announce that Irene Garcés-Iriarte, Ph.D candidate in Economics, has been awarded the best paper presented by a young scholar at the XXIV Conference on International Economics. The event, organized by the Spanish Association of International Economics and Finance (AEEFI) at the University of Alcalá, took place on the 15-16 of June 2023. The paper “Modeling heterogeneous direct and third country effect of the trade policy network “ is co-authored with Octavio Fernández-Amador who is one of the WTI’s senior researchers. A huge thank you to the organizing committee, Fundación Rafael del Pino, and professors Juan de Lucio and Rebeca Jiménez-Rodríguez for this award.
